Rules:
General:
1. The LAN Party hosts have final say about everything that happens at this event. These rules are subject to change at any time.
2. All hosts are not responsible for any lost or damaged items. While we will take reasonable precautions to make sure this is a safe event, you are ultimately responsible for everything that happens here. Everyone must sign a rules form to legally acknowledge this.
3. We have receieved permission to use this area, please treat it respectfully. This also includes other people's equipment, no throwing of discs or periphals. Keep your seat and surrounding area and help others do the same.
4. Smoking, alcohol, weapons, drugs, and other illegal substances are not allowed anywhere.
5. Keep swearing and shouting to a minimum.
Hardware
3. No touching anyone else's equipment besides yours. Theft will not be tolerated.
6. Plug into ONLY your plug. Doing otherwise may lead to power outages. Do not plug into another participant's power strip. If you are not sure where to plug in, ask a staff member. You are allowed to plug your computer and monitor into our power grid, no other devices or peripherals are allowed.
7. Headphones only please.
8. Your computer must be virus free and have up to date virus protection running. Please provide us with a screenshot or a print out of your most recent virus scan.

While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment for you and your system, the hosts of this event accept no liability for damage or loss occurred while participating in the event, this includes but is not limited to damage to your property (computer, car etc), virus infection, theft and personal injury. The act of transporting sensitive electronic devices (such as computers and monitors) is hazardous to the proper operation of such devices and may cause physical damage to their sensitive electronic components. Connecting your electronic equipment to the network and power grid may subject the equipment to viruses, power surges, brownouts, blackouts, and other hazardous conditions. Attendance is at the participant's own risk, and it is the participant's responsibility to ensure that they have adequate anti-virus protection, firewall, surge protected power strips, etc. You may be ejected from the LAN Party for breaking any of these rules or at the discretion of the LAN Party hosts. You are not entitled to a refund if you are ejected for any reason.
